The Reichstag President Dr. Theodor Kathrein is a masterpiece painted by Rudolf Konopa in the year 1902. The over 110 years old original version measures the size: 121 x 93 cm - frame: 155,5 × 127,5 × 11 cm and was made with the technique of oil on canvas. The artwork has the following inscription: signed and dated top right: R.KONOPA. / 1902. Nowadays, the artwork can be viewed in in the Belvedere's digital collection, which is one of Europe's most famous museums with three locations that blends the experience of architecture and art in a unique way. Moreover, alignment of the digital reproduction is in portrait format and has an image ratio of 3 : 4, meaning that the length is 25% shorter than the width. Rudolf Konopa was a painter from Austria, whose style can be attributed mainly to Modern Art. The artist was born in the year 1864 in Vienna and deceased at the age of 74 in the year 1938.
