Product materials you can pick

The product dropdown menu ofers you the chance to choose a material and a sizeaccording to your individual preferences. You can choose among the following product customization options:

  • Print on glossy acrylic glass: The acrylic glass print, often referred to as a print on plexiglass, will turn the original into wonderful home decoration and forms a good alternative to aluminium or canvas fine art prints. The major benefit of an acrylic glass print is that contrasts and small image details become visible because of the fine gradation. The plexiglass with real glass coating protects your chosen art print against light and heat for many decades.
  • Canvas print: A canvas print is a printed canvas mounted on a wood stretcher. A printed canvas of this artwork will allow you to transform your into a large size work of art. The advantage of canvas prints is that they are relatively low in weight, which means that it is quite simple to hang up your Canvas print without extra wall-mounts. Because of thata canvas print is suitable for any type of wall.
  • Aluminium dibond print: These are metal prints on aluminium dibond material with an outstanding depth effect. The non-reflective surface make a fashionable look. A direct Direct Print on Aluminum Dibond is your perfect start to the sophisticated world of replicas on aluminum. For the Direct Aluminium Dibond print, we print your chosen work of art right onto the surface of the white-primed aluminum. The white and bright sections of the artwork shimmer with a silky gloss but without the glow. The colors of the print are luminous and bright, details are very clear, and you can perceive the matte appearance of the fine art print.
  • Poster (canvas material): Our poster print is a printed canvas with a nice surface structure. Please keep in mind, that depending on the absolute size of the canvas poster print we add a white margin of approximately 2-6cm round about the print to facilitate the framing.

Important information: We try all that we can in order to describe our art products as accurately as possible and to demonstrate them visually. Nonetheless, the pigments of the print materials and the printing can diverge somehwat from the image on your screen. Depending on your screen settings and the condition of the surface, colors can unfortunately not be printed as exactly as the digital version depicted here. Because all are printed and processed manually, there might as well be slight variations in the motif's exact position and the size.

Edward Caillard (1803-1868), director of couriers Laffitte and Caillard, main transport company in the mid 19th century, is standing, three-quarter and half-length, on a dark red background. Elegantly dressed, he raises his right hand in the pocket of his coat and holding a scarf in the other hand. The golden chain on his watch than his white vest ajar.

Behind the severity of the installation and the strict elegance of the model, we guess the social advent of a man whose success appears without ostentation. Mottez focuses light on the face and hands, said rendering fabrics while quickly brush the bottom left dark red without decoration or accessory. This formula, which enhances the appearance of the model and allows some psychological acuity was initiated by Ingres with the Portrait of Monsieur Bertin (1832, Paris, Louvre).
