Obtain your fine art print material option

We offer a range of various materials and sizes for every product. Thus, we allow you to choose among the following options:

  • Printed poster (canvas material): The poster print is a UV printed canvas paper with a slightly rough structure on the surface. The poster print is ideally designed for framing the art replica with a custom frame. Please keep in mind, that depending on the size of the poster we add a white margin of around 2-6cm around the artwork, which facilitates the framing.
  • Aluminium dibond (metal print): Aluminium Dibond prints are metal prints with a true depth. The Direct Print on Aluminum Dibond is the ideal introduction to fine art reproductions with aluminum. The print on Aluminum Dibond is the most popular entry-level product and is a truly contemporary way to showcase art prints, since it puts the viewer’s focus on the artwork.
  • The canvas print: A UV printed canvas applied on a wood frame. It produces a unique effect of three-dimensionality. Also, a canvas print generates a attractive and warm feeling. Canvas Prints have the advantage of being low in weight. That means, it is easy to hang up the Canvas print without the support of any wall-mounts. A canvas print is suitable for any kind of wall.
  • Print on glossy acrylic glass (with real glass coating): The print on acrylic glass, often denoted as a print on plexiglass, will transform your original artwork into great home decoration and forms a good alternative option to aluminium or canvas fine art replicas. The work of art will be custom-made with the help of state-of-the-art UV print machines. The major upside of a plexiglass art print is that contrasts and also smaller color details become recognizeable because of the fine gradation in the print.

Legal disclaimer: We try what we can in order to depict our art products as clearly as possible and to display them visually on the different product detail pages. Nevertheless, the tone of the printed materials and the imprint can diverge slightly from the representation on your device's monitor. Depending on your screen settings and the quality of the surface, not all colors will be printed one hundret percent realistically. Considering that all art reproductions are printed and processed by hand, there may as well be slight differences in the motif's exact position and the size.

Ingres represented Henry IV playing with his children at the time of the arrival of the Spanish ambassador, on the left. The Queen Marie de Medici throne in the center of the table, Henry is down, the children aggripant him. At bottom right, a servant girl looks on. Despite the familiarity of the episode, the painter has suggested the dignity of the rank of the characters: the two older children wear a hat to the famous white plume, the other the sword sign of nobility. The presence of the Spanish ambassador, bringing the collar of the Order of the Golden Fleece, is an allusion to the function of the count of Blancas, sponsor of this painting. On the back wall, the reproduction of the "Madonna of the Chair" is a tribute to the Italian master admired by Ingres, Raphael.

This picture was painted in Rome for the Count de Blacas, ambassador of Louis XVIII and influential figure in the Restoration, along with "François 1er received the last sighs Leonardo da Vinci" (PDUT01165). This subject, representative of the current "Troubadour" is treated the same year by Pierre Révoil and Bonington. Having interrupted his studies very young, Ingres relied more on his exceptional visual memory of his literary knowledge. So many famous paintings have served as models to represent the characters in this scene. While Henri IV is directly taken from the table of Flemish Frans Pourbus (1610, Paris, Louvre), representation of Marie de Medici is inspired by the paintings of the gallery Medici commissioned to Rubens for the Luxembourg Palace in 1621 ( Louvre Museum).
