Sketch for the table in the Salon of 1850, No. 676. Andre Dupin brilliant lawyer participated in the events of July 1830 and became adviser of Louis Philippe. Elected to the presidency of the Chamber of Deputies from 1832 to 1837, he became president of the Legislative Assembly in 1849, under the Second Republic; it is in this latter function the painter has been represented for the 1850 furniture.
