The colors are luminous and bright, fine details of the print appear very clear, and the print has a a matte appearance you can literally feel. The print on aluminium is the most popular entry-level product and is a sophisticated way to showcase art reproductions, since it puts all of the viewer’s focus on the artwork.

At the same time, some tone of the printing material, as well as the print result may diverge marginally from the image on your device's screen. Depending on your screen settings and the quality of the surface, not all color pigments are printed as exactly as the digital version depicted here. In view of the fact that all our are printed and processed manually, there might also be minor variations in the exact position and the size of the motif.

In accordance with the Greek writer Lucian (125–180 A.D.), the blind giant Orion is shown directed towards the healing rays of the sun by Cedalion, who rides on his back. Poussin has given the story a meteorological subtext by showing the earth’s vapors rising towards the moon (where Diana stands watching); they will be transformed into rain. Poussin painted this poetic picture—one of his greatest landscapes—for Michel Passart, an important Parisian patron of both Poussin and Claude Lorrain.
