This over 130 years old artwork was made by the Austrian artist Hugo Darnaut. The original was painted with the following size: 96 x 78 cm - frame: 133 x 114 x 10 cm and was painted with the medium oil on canvas. The artwork's inscription is - signed and dated lower left: Hugo Darnaut / 1,883th. Today, the artwork is in the the Belvedere's digital collection, which is one of Europe's most famous museums with three locations that blends the experience of architecture and art in a unique way. We are happy to mention that this artpiece, which is part of the public domain is included with courtesy of © Belvedere, Vienna, inventory number: 2796. : transfer from the Kunsthistorisches Museum, Vienna in 1921. Moreover, alignment of the digital reproduction is portrait and has a ratio of 1 : 1.2, meaning that the length is 20% shorter than the width. Hugo Darnaut was a male painter from Austria, whose art style was primarily Realism. The artist lived for 87 years and was born in 1850 in Dessau, Saxony-Anhalt, Germany and deceased in the year 1937.
