Saint Nicolas, left, and Saint Blaise, right, are shown at the foot of an ocher background. They stand on a floor strewn with stylized grass. Both are dressed in bishops and carry the Gospels of their left hand covered by a sign of respect to the holy book, giving their blessing to the right hand of the same movement.
The representation of two saints on the same icon is surely due to the control of a church or an individual who had special veneration for them.
