In front of a farm on the right, a woman sitting with a cap and a basket in his left hand, holding a sleeping child on her breast. To his left, in front of bushes, a little boy is asleep. On the left, leaning against a barrel, another child danced a little dog. Basically, a landscape with trees and a construction.
This table perfectly illustrates the kind of pastoral invented by Boucher in which he achieved successful. single agreement blend of naturalism, fantasy and observation, innocence and ambiguity.
