In front of a background evoking the Festival of the Federation, the Champs de Mars July 14, 1790, are represented important figures of the 1792 Convention, from left to right: Championnet Pache Cambon, Carnot, Robert Linde Prieur of the Marne. On the left, the soldiers of the Republic.

The Panorama of the history of the century, created for the 1889 Universal Exhibition was displayed in a rotunda at the Tuileries for seven years. The fabric was then cut into about sixty pieces and shared among the shareholders of the Company of history of the century created for its realization.
