Original description from The Cleveland Museum of Art (© Copyright - by The Cleveland Museum of Art - The Cleveland Museum of Art)
In May 1890, Van Gogh left the south and settled in Auvers, a small town north of Paris, where he rented a room at the inn of Arthur Ravoux. This portrait, completed during the last months of the artist’s life, depicts Ravoux’s 13-year-old daughter, Adeline. Van Gogh wrote that rather than photographic resemblance, he wanted his portraits to convey the “impassioned aspects” of contemporary life through the “modern taste for color.” Bequest of Leonard C. Hanna Jr. 1958.31

Choose your product material
The product dropdown menu ofers you the chance to choose the size and materialaccording to your preferences. The following sizes and materials are the options we offer you for individualization:
- Aluminium dibond: Aluminium Dibond prints are prints on metal with an impressive depth. For our Print On Aluminum Dibond, we print the chosen artwork right onto the surface of the white-primed aluminum material. Colors are vivid and luminous, details of the print are clear and crisp, and you can really notice a matte appearance.
- The canvas print: A canvas print, which should not be mistaken with a painting on a canvas, is an image applied on a cotton canvas fabric. It generates the exclusive effect of three-dimensionality. The advantage of canvas prints is that they are relatively low in weight, which implies that it is easy to hang up your Canvas print without the use of extra wall-mounts. Canvas prints are suitable for all kinds of walls.
- Printed acrylic glass (with real glass coating on top): An acrylic glass print, which is often labelled as a plexiglass print, will change your favorite original into beautiful décor and makes a viable alternative to canvas and dibond fine art replicas. With an acrylic glass fine art print contrasts and small details become more visible due to the precise tonal gradation. Our plexiglass with real glass coating protects your chosen art replica against sunlight and heat for many years.
- The poster print (canvas material): Our poster is a printed flat canvas paper with a slight structure on the surface. Please note, that depending on the size of the poster print we add a white margin 2-6cm round about the work of art in order to facilitate the framing with your custom frame.
