How difficult hands divorce with Paul Troger and Josef Ignaz Mildorfer is sometimes shows the attribution history of this oil sketch for a ceiling fresco. The painting was purchased in 1912 for the museum as the work of an unnamed artist. In stock Catalog 1980 Elfriede tree tentatively Mildorfer suggested as an author, having had previously drawn Johann Evangelist Holzer, Caspar Franz Sambach and Franz Xaver Karl Palko considered. Franz mush brought the design in 1989 for the first time with Troger and its frescoes commissioned for the church of the English Lady in Sankt Poelten in conjunction - one since not undisputed thesis, which, however, preference is given in the recent research.
