Both healing saints are represented at the bottom of face. On the left, Saint Panteleimon wears a purple cloak knotted on the chest, patterns embellished with three white dots around a black dot; and a surplice over a tunic also purple. The Hermolaios old right door vestments of the priest's chasuble, stole but also Epigonation normally reserved for the high clergy.

The painter, Angheletos that we are not otherwise known, has a traditionalist style, even archaic for the time in which he worked. He must have practiced his art in a provincial center, certainly in northern Greece. Because of the technique he uses, it is likely that he was above all a fresco painter.
