In 1619 the male artist Paul Bril painted the 17th century artwork Landscape with Hunters. The more than 400 year old original has the following size: 23 5/8 × 34 5/8 in (60 × 88 cm). Oil on canvas was applied by the painter as the technique for the painting. The original artwork was inscribed with the text: "inscribed at lower right: PA.BRILLO 1619". It can be viewed in in the Art Institute Chicago's art collection, which is one of the world’s great art museums, housing a collection that spans centuries and the globe.
