The 19th century masterpiece with the title Gustav Vasa finds his consort Catherine Capricorn asleep and hear her say:Kung Gosta I hold very dear, but Rosen I will never forget was made by Hugo Salmson in the year 1868. The more than 150 year-old original creation had the following size: Height: 73 cm (28,7 ″); Width: 59 cm (23,2 ″) Framed: Height: 96,5 cm (37,9 ″); Width: 82 cm (32,2 ″) and was produced with the technique oil on canvas. The artpiece is in the the collection of Nationalmuseum Stockholm in Stockholm, Stockholm County, Sweden.
