The work of art with the title Mädchenbildnis was created by the art nouveau artist Theodor Hummel. The 110 year old artwork has the size: 100 x 70 cm - frame: 123,5 x 94 x 5,5 cm. Oil on canvas was used by the artist as the technique for the masterpiece. The original painting has the following text as inscrption: signed and dated lower left: Hummel / 05. Today, this artwork is in the the collection of Belvedere. This artpiece, which is in the public domain is being provided with courtesy of © Belvedere, Vienna, inventory number: 788. In addition, the artwork has the following creditline: purchase from Secession, Vienna in 1907. Besides, the alignment of the digital reproduction is portrait and has a ratio of 1 : 1.4, which means that the length is 29% shorter than the width. Theodor Hummel was a male painter, whose art style can primarily be classified as Art Nouveau. The German artist was born in 1864 in Schliersee, Bavaria, Germany and passed away at the age of 75 in the year 1939.
