Original artwork information as provided by Rijksmuseum (© Copyright - Rijksmuseum - Rijksmuseum)

Jan van Huysum was the most famous flower still life painter of the 18th century. In this portrait he is in his late thirties, the age at which he enjoyed his first successes. Boonen may well have painted this in exchange for a floral still life. The stylish cloak and the curtain lend the painting a certain gravity, softened somewhat by the informality of the sitter’s open shirt.

The product dropdown list provides you with the possibility to select a material and a size of your choice. You can select your favorite material and size among the preferences:

  • Acrylic glass print (with real glass coating): The acrylic glass print, often referred to as a fine art print on plexiglass, will change the original work of art into brilliant wall decoration. The acrylic glass protects your chosen art print against sunlight and external influences for between 4 and 6 decades.
  • The canvas print: A printed canvas material stretched on a wooden stretcher frame. It generates the exclusive impression of three dimensionality. The great advantage of canvas prints is that they are relatively low in weight, which implies that it is easy to hang up the Canvas print without the use of any wall-mounts. Canvas prints are suited for any type of wall.
  • Aluminium dibond: Aluminium Dibond prints are prints on metal with a true depth effect. A direct Direct Print on Aluminum Dibond is your best start to fine prints on aluminum. Colors are vivid and luminous in the highest definition, details are crisp and clear, and you can literally feel the matte appearance of the print. This UV print on Aluminum Dibond is one of the most demanded entry-level products and is a contemporary way to showcase fine art reproductions, as it puts the viewer’s focus on the replica of the artwork.
  • Printed poster (canvas material): Our poster is a printed canvas with a nice structure on the surface. It is optimally appropriate for framing your art print with a personal frame. Please note, that depending on the size of the canvas poster print we add a white margin of something between 2-6cm round about the artwork to facilitate the framing with a custom frame.
