Which materials can I order?

The product dropdown menu ofers you the chance to pick your prefered material and size. You can choose among the following product customization options:

  • The poster print (canvas material): A poster is a printed sheet of canvas with a granular surface finish, which resembles the original artwork. Please bear in mind, that depending on the size of the poster we add a white margin of something between 2-6cm around the work of art to facilitate the framing with a custom frame.
  • Aluminium dibond print: An Aluminium Dibond print is a print with an impressive depth - for a modern look and a non-reflective surface. For the Print On Aluminum Dibond, we print the favorite artwork right onto the aluminium composite surface. Colors are luminous, the details appear crisp. The direct print on Aluminum Dibond is one of the most demanded entry-level products and is a stylish way to display art prints, because it draws attention on the image.
  • Canvas: A UV printed canvas mounted on a wooden stretcher frame. A canvas print has the advantage of being relatively low in weight. That means, it is quite simple to hang the Canvas print without the use of extra wall-mounts. Because of thatcanvas prints are suitable for all kinds of walls.
  • Glossy acrylic glass print (with real glass coating on top): The print on acrylic glass, often named a UV print on plexiglass, changes the original work of art into brilliant home decoration. Our acrylic glass protects your selected art replica against light and heat for up to six decades.

Important note: We try everything in order to depict our products as precisely as we can and to demonstrate them visually. At the same time, the colors of the printing material and the print result may vary marginally from the presentation on the device's screen. Depending on the screen settings and the nature of the surface, color pigments may not be printed as realistically as the digital version shown here. Bearing in mind that all our art reproductions are processed and printed manually, there might as well be minor variations in the exact position and the size of the motif.

What does the original artwork description of the The Cleveland Museum of Art write about this work of art made by Frans Hals? (© - by The Cleveland Museum of Art - The Cleveland Museum of Art)

An extremely wealthy linen and silk merchant in Haarlem, Tieleman Roosterman was 36 years old when Frans Hals painted his portrait. Unlike many Dutch painters of the period, Hals favored strong, visible brushstrokes that convey the vitality of his sitters. Roosterman strikes a confident pose, his costume sober but luxurious: his sleeves are decorated with braid and buttons, and ribbon rosettes encircle the waist of his doublet. The rich black of his suit is offset by the broad linen collar and lace-edged cuffs—fashionable details befitting a successful cloth merchant.
