Additional information on the original artwork from Rijksmuseum (© Copyright - Rijksmuseum - www.rijksmuseum.nl)

This portrait invites us to enter the room and enjoy art and music with this gentleman. Typical of the 18th century is the lack of distance between sitter and viewer: the likeness is not intimidating. We stand face to face with a cheerful young man, member of a wealthy Mennonite family from Amsterdam. The visit has caught him unawares: on his shoulder are traces of powder spilled while he powdered his wig.

Pick your material

The product dropdown list provides you with the possibility to pick the size and material of your choice. Pick your preferred material and size among the following preferences:

  • Poster print (canvas material): Our poster is a printed canvas paper with a slight texture on the surface. Please note, that depending on the absolute size of the canvas poster print we add a white margin of approximately 2-6 cm around the painting, which facilitates the framing with your custom frame.
  • Aluminium dibond: An Aluminium Dibond print is a material with an impressive depth. The Direct Print on Aluminum Dibond is the perfect start to replicas produced on aluminum. The white and bright parts of the original work of art shimmer with a silky gloss but without any glow. The colors are luminous in the highest definition, the fine details are very clear.
  • Canvas: The canvas print is a printed canvas mounted on a wood stretcher. Your canvas print of this work of art will let you turn your very own into a large size artwork as you would see in a gallery. Canvas Prints have the advantage of being relatively low in weight, which means that it is easy and straightforward to hang up your Canvas print without any wall-mounts. A canvas print is suited for any kind of wall.
  • Print on acrylic glass: An print on acrylic glass, often referred to as a print on plexiglass, will transform your favorite original artwork into brilliant décor. In addition to that, the acrylic glass art print is a viable alternative to canvas and aluminidum dibond fine art prints. Your favorite work of art is being manufactured with the help of modern UV direct print technology. It creates intense and sharp print colors. The major upside of an acrylic glass art print is that sharp contrasts and minor artwork details become more identifiable because of the very subtle gradation. The real glass coating protects your selected art print against light and external influences for decades.
