Pauline Metternich, wife of the Austrian ambassador at the court of Napoleon III, was a famously homely yet chic style icon known for her sense of wit; she was said to have referred to herself as "the fashion monkey." Boudin achieved success with his scenes of stylishly dressed families taking the sea air at Trouville and other beach resorts, and apart from Empress Eugénie, no woman would have aroused more interest on the beach than her friend Princess Metternich.

In addition to that, a canvas print creates a nice and pleasing ambience. How can I hang a canvas on the wall? A canvas print has the advantage of being relatively low in weight. This means, it is easy to hang your Canvas print without additional wall-mounts. A canvas print is suitable for all kinds of walls.
  • Aluminium dibond print: Aluminium Dibond prints are metal prints with an outstanding depth effect. For our Direct Print On Aluminum Dibond, we print your favorite artpiece on the surface of the white-primed aluminum. The white and bright sections of the original work of art shine with a silk gloss, however without any glare. This print on aluminium is one of the most popular entry-level products and is an extremely modern way to display art reproductions, since it draws attention on the replica of the artwork.
  • Acrylic glass print: An acrylic glass print, often named a plexiglass print, transforms the artwork into home décor. With an acrylic glass art print contrasts and smaller painting details become identifiable thanks to the subtle tonal gradation.
  • Poster print (canvas material): Our poster is a printed flat canvas with a fine finish on the surface. Please note, that depending on the size of the poster we add a white margin between 2-6cm round about the painting to facilitate the framing.
