Important legal note: We try our best to describe the art products as closely as possible and to demonstrate them visually on the product detail pages. However, the pigments of the printed materials, as well as the printing might vary to a certain extent from the representation on your screen. Depending on the settings of your screen and the condition of the surface, not all color pigments are printed 100% realistically. Since all our art prints are printed and processed by hand, there may also be minor deviations in the motif's exact position and the size.

English: The portrait of Jean Burnay is an impressive example of Zorn’s astonishing skill in watercolour painting. It is also fascinating how the interior, the setting, is employed to enhance the subject of the portrait. Zorn takes a sofa as his only prop, but he uses it to heighten Burnay’s character. The figure appears as magnificent as a peacock with its tail feathers.
