The classic art piece of art was created by the baroque artist Franz Sigrist d. Ä. in 1790. The 230 years old masterpiece was painted with the size: 26 x 17,5 cm. Oil on canvas was applied by the painter as the medium of the piece of art. The original artpiece has the following inscription: designation bottom left: I M S / 1780 [probably later put]. Nowadays, the artpiece can be viewed in in the digital collection of Belvedere in Vienna, Austria. This artpiece, which is part of the public domain is being provided with courtesy of © Belvedere, Vienna, inventory number: 1748. : purchase from Gallery Dr. Otto Cheerful, Vienna in 1915. In addition to this, the alignment is portrait with a ratio of 2 : 3, which implies that the length is 33% shorter than the width. The painter Franz Sigrist d. Ä. was an artist, whose artistic style can be attributed primarily to Baroque. The painter lived for 76 years, born in 1727 in Alt-Breisach in Breisgau, Baden-Württemberg and passed away in 1803.
