Belvedere
The Belvedere is a museum in Vienna, Austria and has Europe's largest collection of Austrian, consisting of more than 1,000 paintings from the Middle Ages to the present day. Along with its impressive architecture, this makes it one of Vienna's must-see sights. There are three galleries in the museum, each with different themes. The large Picture Gallery includes four centuries of European painting and is home to works by Italian Renaissance masters such as Raphael and Titian. The Flemish Painting Gallery houses a rich collection of paintings by Peter Paul Rubens and Anthony van Dyck from the 17th century. The Modern Gallery presents a thematic overview of both 20th-century Austrian and international paintings.
