Background information on the more than 380 years old painting

The over 380 year-old painting "Simeon's Song of Praise" was made by the painter Rembrandt van Rijn. The beyond 380 year old original creation measures the size: height: 60,9 cm width: 47,9 cm | height: 24 in width: 18,9 in. Oil on panel was used by the Dutch artist as the medium of the artwork. The original artpiece has the following inscription: signed and dated: RHL. 1631. Furthermore, this artwork is part of the collection of Mauritshuis, which the Mauritshuis is home to the best artworks of Dutch painting of the seventeenth century.
