Corot painted this view of a pond near his home at Ville-d'Avray, just west of Paris, in his late style distinguished by soft, hazy forms and gentle, silvery light. Such paintings merge his lifelong study of nature with nostalgic memories and contrast sharply with the more formal compositions and precisely rendered shapes of his early landscapes. Corot's devotion to the direct study of nature was a major influence on the Impressionists.

Please note, that depending on the size of the poster we add a white margin of around 2-6cm around the print motif, which facilitates the framing with a custom frame.

For the Print On Aluminum Dibond, we print your selected artpiece onto the surface of the aluminum material. The bright & white components of the work of art shimmer with a silky gloss, however without any glow. The colors are vivid and luminous in the highest definition, the details of the print are crisp and clear, and the print has a a matte appearance you can literally feel.
  • Printed acrylic glass: A glossy acrylic glass print, which is often named as a fine art print on plexiglass, changes your favorite original artwork into gorgeous décor. The work of art is being made thanks to modern UV direct printing machines. This has the impression of rich and sharp colors.
  • Canvas print: The canvas print, which should not be confused with an artwork painted on a canvas, is a digital replica applied on a canvas. A canvas produces a special impression of three dimensionality. The advantage of canvas prints is that they are relatively low in weight. This means, it is quite simple to hang up your Canvas print without the help of extra wall-mounts. Therefore, a canvas print is suitable for all types of walls.
