Due to Amsterdam’s explosive population growth, the city experienced several expansions during the 17th century. This painting presents a section of the city’s world-famous ring of canals. The bend in the Herengracht depicted here was the domain of the wealthiest. When Berckheyde painted this sun-drenched city view, several houses had yet to be completed, and there were still vacant lots.

Possible product material options

The product dropdown menu provides you with the opportunity to pick your prefered size and material. We allow yout to choose among the following variants:

  • Printed acrylic glass with a glossy effect (with real glass coating): A glossy acrylic glass print, often described as a UV print on plexiglass, will change your selected original work of art into brilliant wall décor and forms a viable alternative option to canvas or aluminium dibond art prints. With an acrylic glass art print contrasts and smaller painting details will be exposed because of the very fine tonal gradation. The plexiglass with real glass coating protects your custom art replica against light and heat for between 4 and 6 decades.
  • The canvas print: A canvas print is a printed canvas mounted on a wooden stretcher. Further, a canvas makes a cosy and pleasing effect. How do I hang a canvas print on my wall? Canvas prints are relatively low in weight. This means, it is quite simple to hang the Canvas print without additional wall-mounts. Because of thatcanvas prints are suited for any type of wall.
  • Metal (aluminium dibond print): This is a metal print manufactured on aluminium dibond material with a true depth. Its non-reflective surface structure creates a contemporary look. For the Aluminium Dibond option, we print the selected work of art onto the aluminium composite surface. The colors are luminous in the highest definition, details of the print appear crisp and clear. The direct print on aluminium is the most popular entry-level product and is a truly sophisticated way to showcase art prints, since it draws attention on the artwork.
  • Poster on canvas material: The Artprinta poster is a printed sheet of cotton canvas with a slightly rough surface structure. Please bear in mind, that depending on the size of the poster we add a white margin of around 2-6cm around the painting, which facilitates the framing.
