This over 140 years old artpiece was made by the artist Petrus van der Velden. The over 140 year old original version has the following size of Support: 755mm (width), 570mm (height). Oil on canvas marouflaged to cardboard was applied by the European painter as the technique for the artwork. The artpiece belongs to the collection of Museum of New Zealand - Te Papa Tongarewa, which is the national museum of New Zealand, with a great collection of artworks that contain deep ancestral links to the indigenous Māori population of New Zealand.
