Episode from the Four Days' Battle, 11-14 June 1666, during the Second Anglo-Dutch War (1665-1667). Sea battle between the Dutch and English fleets.
The artpiece "Episode from the Four DaysNaval Battle, 11-14 June 1666" was painted by the painter Unknown in 1666. Today, this artpiece is in the the digital art collection of Rijksmuseum, which is the largest museum for Dutch art and history from the Middle Ages to the present day.
