English: Anna Boberg was fascinated by the arctic landscape. From 1901 and onwards, she visited the Lofoten islands off the north-west coast of Norway year after year, often undertaking arduous expeditions to make oil sketches on cardboard. This painting was based on one such sketch of the summer night north of the Arctic Circle. Daylight lingers in the sky above the moun-tains and cabins reflected in the still water. Anna Boberg’s Lofoten paintings won acclaim at ex-hibitions in Europe and the USA.

  • Aluminium dibond print: This is a metal print manufactured on aluminium dibond with a true effect of depth - for a modern look and non-reflective surface structure. The Aluminium Dibond Print is the excellent start to art reproductions on aluminum. The white and bright parts of the original artwork shine with a silky gloss, however without any glow.
  • Printed poster on canvas material: The poster print is a UV printed canvas with a slight texture on the surface. Please note, that depending on the absolute size of the poster we add a white margin 2-6cm around the print to facilitate the framing with a custom frame.
  • Print on acrylic glass (with real glass coating on top): An acrylic glass print, which is often described as a fine art print on plexiglass, will convert the original work of art into décor and forms a great alternative to aluminium or canvas fine art replicas. Important information: We try whatever we can in order to describe our art products in as much detail as possible and to illustrate them visually. Nevertheless, the tone of the printing material and the print result may differ marginally from the presentation on your screen. Depending on the settings of your screen and the quality of the surface, not all color pigments are printed as realistically as the digital version depicted here. Bearing in mind that all our fine art prints are printed and processed by hand, there may as well be slight deviations in the size and exact position of the motif.
