General information by The Metropolitan Museum of Art (© - The Metropolitan Museum of Art - The Metropolitan Museum of Art)

One of twenty-two panels (14.114.1–.22) forming the ceiling from the Palace of Pandolfo Petrucci, called Il Magnifico, Siena. The general distribution and partition of the ceiling appears to derive from that of a vaulted and painted ceiling in Nero's Golden House in Rome. Many of the individual figures also seem to derive from antique works of art– especially sarcophagi.

Choose your favorite material variant

We offer a range of various materials and sizes for every product. The following options are available for individualization:

  • Metal print (aluminium dibond): An Aluminium Dibond print is a print material with a true depth. The white and bright sections of the artwork shine with a silky gloss, however without glare. This direct print on aluminium is the most popular entry-level product and is a sophisticated way to display art, since it puts 100% of the viewer’s attention on the replica of the artwork.
  • The poster print on canvas material: The poster print is a printed cotton canvas with a fine finish on the surface. It is best appropriate for placing your art copy in a customized frame. Please keep in mind, that depending on the absolute size of the canvas poster print we add a white margin 2-6cm round about the print motif, which facilitates the framing with a custom frame.
  • The acrylic glass print (with real glass coating on top): The acrylic glass print, often described as a fine art print on plexiglass, will transform an original artwork into brilliant décor. The work of art is custom-made with state-of-the-art UV direct printing technology. This makes rich, impressive color hues. With an acrylic glass art print contrasts and granular color details become more recognizeable because of the fine tonal gradation. Our real glass coating protects your chosen art replica against light and heat for between 40-60 years.
  • Canvas: The printed canvas material stretched on a wooden frame. How do I hang a canvas print on the wall? Canvas prints are relatively low in weight, which implies that it is easy to hang up the Canvas print without the support of extra wall-mounts. Therefore, canvas prints are suitable for any type of wall.
