The 17th century masterpiece was made by the painter Anonymous in 1608. The original measures the size: Height: 15,2 cm, Width: 32,6 cm. "Registration - On the back of the panel: "View of the gallery of the Louvre and the Tour de Nesle in 1608 by Fr. Pourbus; this year from 22 October 1607 to 6 January 1608, the Seine and all the rivers of Europe . " In more recent writing: "Van de Venne"" was the artwork's inscription.
