Justice Peace ensures and protects the Arts. allegorical scene. On the central part, Justice is represented enthroned on a cloud with his right hand in the balance. It is surrounded by Prudence and Force, supported by a lion and Temperance holding jaws. This figure is topped by three Victories holding laurel wreaths. Other allegories associated with the judiciary are represented: two loves into the mirror of truth and Hercules chasing his club Discord brandishing a snake and Slander face hidden behind a mask. The glasses illustrate prosperity ensured by Justice: ensuring peace it protects and promotes Arts Agriculture. The pendants tell the story of Neptune, Tritons and Nereids. In the medallions in grisaille seen two episodes of the judgment of Solomon, and the Tribute of St. Peter (or Tribute Money), finally Christ and the adulteress.

The work is a sketch for the ceiling of the 2nd bedroom queries in parliament (1688), now disappeared.
