Three women of different ages appear in a luxuriously appointed interior. The eldest, her hair modestly covered, writes a letter while the youngest peers over her shoulder. The third woman, dressed in the radiant satin often associated with Ter Borch, appears pensive or lovelorn. Dutch women had high rates of literacy compared to their peers in other European countries, and letter writing was a common feature of courtship. Perhaps the older woman at the table is helping her friend craft a response to a suitor.

Select the material you would like to have

The product dropdown menu gives you the possibility to select your prefered size and material. Pick your favorite size and material among the following options:

  • Canvas print: The canvas print is a printed canvas stretched on a wooden frame. The great advantage of canvas prints is that they are relatively low in weight, which means that it is quite simple to hang up the Canvas print without the support of any wall-mounts. Because of thatcanvas prints are suited for all types of walls.
  • Glossy acrylic glass print (with real glass coating): A glossy acrylic glass print, which is sometimes described as a print on plexiglass, will turn the original work of art into home décor. Your favorite artwork will be custom-made with the help of modern UV direct printing machines. It creates sharp and vivid color shades.
  • Metal (aluminium dibond print): These are metal prints on aluminium dibond with an impressive depth effect, which makes a modern impression thanks to a surface structure, which is non-reflective. The Aluminium Dibond Print is the ideal start to fine prints made on aluminum. The bright and white sections of the work of art shimmer with a silk gloss, however without any glare.
  • Poster print (canvas material): Our poster print is a UV printed canvas with a granular surface texture, which resembles the actual version of the work of art. Please note, that depending on the absolute size of the canvas poster print we add a white margin of approximately 2-6cm around the artwork, which facilitates the framing with your custom frame.
