Original information about the artwork by The Metropolitan Museum of Art (© Copyright - by The Metropolitan Museum of Art - The Metropolitan Museum of Art)
Painted from a vantage point to the west of Emmanuel de Witte’s depiction of the same church hanging nearby, Van Vliet’s picture gives a somewhat more accurate rendering of certain architectural motifs, such as the pulpit and the red bricks on the archway leading into the choir. But this image shares with De Witte’s the motif of a fresh grave, an unsettling reference to death amid everyday activity.

The product material choices
For every art print we offer a range of different materials & sizes. We allow yout to choose among the following variants:
- Aluminium dibond print: An Aluminium Dibond print is a print material with an outstanding depth. Its non-reflective surface creates a fashionable impression. The Direct Print on Aluminum Dibond is your best start to replicas with alu. For our Direct Aluminium Dibond option, we print the chosen artpiece right onto the aluminium composite white-primed surface. This UV print on aluminium is the most popular entry-level product and is an extremely stylish way to display artworks, as it draws attention on the artwork.
- Canvas: A canvas direct print is a printed canvas stretched on a wood frame. It produces a distinctive effect of three dimensionality. A canvas print has the advantage of being low in weight, which means that it is easy to hang your Canvas print without the support of additional wall-mounts. Because of thata canvas print is suitable for all kinds of walls.
- Poster on canvas material: A poster is a printed flat cotton canvas with a nice structure on the surface, which reminds the original work of art. The printed poster is optimally used for putting the art print in a custom-made frame. Please note, that depending on the absolute size of the canvas poster print we add a white margin of around 2-6cm round about the painting in order to facilitate the framing.
- Print on glossy acrylic glass: The acrylic glass print, often described as a plexiglass print, changes an original into magnificient wall décor. Moreover, it is a viable alternative option to aluminium or canvas fine art prints. Our plexiglass with real glass coating protects your chosen art replica against light and heat for up to 60 years.
