Possible material choices

For every art print we offer a range of different sizes & materials. Hence, we allow you to choose among the following options:

  • Metal (aluminium dibond print): Aluminium Dibond prints are metal prints with an impressive depth. For our Aluminium Dibond print, we print your chosen artpiece onto the aluminium composite white-primed surface.
  • Printed poster (canvas material): The Artprinta poster print is a printed cotton canvas paper with a slight surface structure, that resembles the original work of art. A print poster is appropriate for framing the art replica using a personal frame. Please keep in mind, that depending on the size of the poster print we add a white margin of approximately 2-6cm round about the painting, which facilitates the framing with your custom frame.
  • Acrylic glass print (with real glass coating on top): The acrylic glass print, often referred to as a an art print on plexiglass, makes the original work of art into home decoration and offers a viable alternative to aluminium or canvas art prints. Your own replica of the artwork will be custom-made with the help of modern UV direct printing technology.
  • Canvas print: A canvas direct print is a printed canvas stretched on a wooden stretcher. It makes a particular look of three-dimensionality. A printed canvas of your favorite masterpiece will let you turn your into a large size artwork like you would see in a gallery. Canvas Prints have the advantage of being relatively low in weight, which implies that it is quite simple to hang up your Canvas print without any wall-mounts. A canvas print is suitable for all kinds of walls.

Legal disclaimer: We try whatever we can to depict the products as closely as we can and to illustrate them visually on the respective product detail pages. Still, the pigments of the print materials, as well as the printing can diverge to a certain extent from the representation on the monitor. Depending on the settings of your screen and the nature of the surface, colors might not be printed 100% realistically. Considering that all the art reproductions are printed and processed by hand, there might also be slight variations in the exact position and the size of the motif.

English: The painting is a portrait of the artist's son Göran at the age of three months discovering the candle flame. It is an intimate portrait, convincing as an image in passing and, as such, it sheds light on a central theme in late-19th century art, namely the domestic sphere.
