A direct Direct Print on Aluminum Dibond is your best introduction to the sophisticated world of fine replicas with alu. For our Direct Aluminium Dibond print, we print the work of art on the surface of the aluminum. The colors of the print are luminous in the highest definition, fine details of the print appear very clear.
  • The poster print (canvas material): The Artprinta poster print is a UV printed sheet of canvas with a slightly rough texture on the surface, which resembles the original artwork. A printed poster is suited for framing the art copy in a custom frame. Please note, that depending on the absolute size of the poster print we add a white margin between 2-6cm round about the artwork to facilitate the framing with a custom frame.
  • Canvas print: A canvas print, which should not be mistaken with a canvas painting, is a digital replica printed on a UV direct printer. How can I hang a canvas on the wall? Canvas Prints have the advantage of being relatively low in weight, which means that it is easy to hang your Canvas print without the help of additional wall-mounts. That is why, a canvas print is suited for all kinds of walls.

Disclaimer: We try what we can in order to describe our art products as precisely as possible and to demonstrate them visually in our shop. Nonetheless, the tone of the print materials, as well as the imprint can vary marginally from the representation on your monitor. Depending on the screen settings and the quality of the surface, color pigments might not be printed as exactly as the digital version. Given that all the art reproductions are processed and printed by hand, there may also be slight deviations in the motif's size and exact position.

The composition is inspired by a group of ancient sculptures, the most famous version is the Uffizi in Florence.

Apollo, right, and Diane, left, arrows slay their twelve children of Niobe; The latter, in the center, trying to protect one of his daughters. The episode is recounted, among others, in the "Metamorphoses" of Ovid (Niobe, VI, 146-312).

The "Pompeian house" Prince Napoleon (1822-1891), built by architect Alfred Normand, reproduced in every detail a Roman house. It was destroyed in 1891. It is still well known thanks to the many photographs that were made by Richebourg, Laplanche, Godfrey or Bingham. Of the twelve compositions painted by Cornu for the atrium, only two are known paintings conserved at the Musée Carnavalet (see P.2781); they were on either side of the door leading to the library.
