The Dutch East India Company captured the town of Cannanore (now Kannur) on India’s southwest coast from the Portuguese in 1663. At that time, the Portuguese military position on the Malabar Coast had been seriously diminished so the company met with virtually no resistance. The region produced pepper and cardamom, the latter spice used to make sweet biscuits. The company ultimately lost Cannanore to the English.

Your artwork is custom-made thanks to the help of state-of-the-art UV printing technology. The great advantage of a plexiglass art print is that contrasts and smaller color details will be more visible with the help of the very subtle tonal gradation.

A printed canvas of this artwork will allow you to transform your art print into a large collection piece. How do I hang a canvas on my wall? Canvas prints are relatively low in weight, which means that it is quite simple to hang your Canvas print without the help of additional wall-mounts. Canvas prints are suitable for any type of wall.
  • The poster print (canvas material): Our poster print is a printed flat canvas paper with a fine structure on the surface, which reminds the actual version of the artwork. Please note, that depending on the absolute size of the canvas poster print we add a white margin of approximately 2-6 cm around the artwork in order to facilitate the framing with your custom frame.
