Two angels crown the Virgin, seated on a throne. She interrupted her reading to calm the agitation of the Child Jesus. From both sides, holy Dorothy and Catherine, along with their attribute and martyrdom palm, watching the child and two angels playing the table musique.Ce devotion represents the celestial sphere, separated from the earthly sphere by the presence of the foot plate. He invited the faithful to meditation. The panel format, his coronation bezel and its gilded frame with pilasters and entablature, suggests that we are in the presence of a table for a table autel.L'attribution Antonio da Pandino dates only from the extreme end of the twentieth century. While some parts of the work reveal a wealth of detail, others are the result of repainting that disrupt playback.

The table included in the collection of M. Anatole Leroy-Beaulieu. It was sold at Paris Drouot, November 14 1913.Le November 14, 1922, Charles Vincent Ocampo bought from the merchant Édouard Jonas, for $ 40 000frs, as a work of the Sienese school. This Argentine collector donated, subject to usufruct, to the City of Paris in 1931 and lifted the usufruct in 1942.
