Background information on this more than 120 year-old artpiece
This 19th century artpiece named "Sheep Park (moor)" was made by the realist artist Heinrich von Zügel. The original had the following dimensions: 60 x 80,5 cm - frame dimensions: 83 x 101 x 8 cm and was painted with oil on canvas. Signed and dated lower right: H. reins 98th is the artwork's original inscription. Today, the piece of art is part of the art collection of Belvedere. With courtesy of © Belvedere, Vienna, inventory number: 841 (public domain license). : purchase from Hagenbund, Vienna in 1907. Besides, the alignment of the digital reproduction is in landscape format and has an aspect ratio of 4 : 3, which means that the length is 33% longer than the width. Heinrich von Zügel was a painter, whose artistic style can be attributed mainly to Realism. The painter was born in 1850 in Murrhardt, Baden-Württemberg and died at the age of 91 in 1941 in Munich.
