Van Uffel was a wealthy Flemish merchant who lived in Venice, where Van Dyck probably painted this portrait early in his Italian period (1621–27). In another portrait (Herzog Anton Ulrich-Museum, Brauschweig), Van Dyck shows the same sitter authoritatively posed before a view of ships sailing off a Mediterranean coast. Ours, by contrast, shows Van Uffel as a learned gentleman, with signs of his varied interests: dividers, a recorder, the bow of a viola da gamba, an antique head, a drawing, and a celestial globe.

Select your product material

We offer a range of various materials and sizes for every product. You can choose your your favorite size and material among the following options:

  • Aluminium dibond print: Aluminium Dibond prints are metal prints with an impressive depth. The Direct Print on Aluminum Dibond is the best introduction to fine art replicas produced on aluminum. Colors are luminous, the details are very clear. The direct print on aluminium is the most popular entry-level product and is a stylish way to display art prints, because it draws attention on the whole artwork.
  • The acrylic glass print: An acrylic glass print, which is sometimes described as a print on plexiglass, transforms your original work of art into gorgeous décor. In addition, the acrylic glass art print offers a distinct alternative to dibond and canvas fine art prints. The major benefit of a plexiglass art print is that contrasts and painting details will be more identifiable because of the granular gradation in the print.
  • The poster print (canvas material): The Artprinta poster is a UV printed canvas paper with a slightly roughened structure on the surface, which reminds the original artwork. The poster print is suited for framing the art copy in a special frame. Please keep in mind, that depending on the size of the poster print we add a white margin between 2-6cm round about the print motif, which facilitates the framing.
  • The canvas print: A printed canvas, which shall not be mistaken with a painting on a canvas, is a digital copy printed from a UV direct printing machine. The advantage of canvas prints is that they are relatively low in weight, which implies that it is quite simple to hang up your Canvas print without the help of extra wall-mounts. A canvas print is suited for any kind of wall.

Important information: We try whatever we can to describe the products as accurately as possible and to demonstrate them visually. However, the tone of the printing material and the imprint can diverge slightly from the image on your device's monitor. Depending on your settings of your screen and the quality of the surface, not all colors are printed 100% realistically. Because our art prints are processed and printed manually, there might as well be minor differences in the motif's size and exact position.
