Original artwork information by Barnes Foundation (© - by Barnes Foundation - Barnes Foundation)

Leopold Zborowski was a Polish-born artist, poet, and art dealer who moved to Paris in 1913. He began acting as Modigliani's manager in 1916, commissioning and selling his works and turning a large room in his apartment into a studio for the artist. Modigliani painted three portraits of Zborowski. In this one, the last of the three, we see the stylized features that are characteristic of Modigliani's work: an elegantly elongated neck, icy-blue eyes, a prominent, narrow nose, and a small mouth set within a heart-shaped face. Positioned in an ambiguous interior space, there is little to distract from the dealer's pensive stare; the up-close presentation also suggests the intimate personal relationship between Modigliani and his sitter.

The great advantage of canvas prints is that they are relatively low in weight, meaning that it is easy and straightforward to hang your Canvas print without additional wall-mounts. That is why, canvas prints are suitable for any type of wall.

Your favorite artwork is being printed with state-of-the-art UV direct printing technology. With an acrylic glass art print contrasts plus color details become more recognizeable with the help of the granular tonal gradation. Our acrylic glass protects your custom art print against light and external influences for between 40-60 years.
  • Aluminium dibond print (metal): Aluminium Dibond prints are metal prints with an outstanding depth effect.
