Which would be your preferred product material option?

For every fine art print we offer a range of different sizes & materials. You can choose your your favorite size and material among the following options:

  • The acrylic glass print: An print on acrylic glass, often described as a an art print on plexiglass, will turn your favorite original artwork into stunning home decoration. Your own replica of the artwork is made with state-of-the-art UV print technology. The great advantage of an acrylic glass print is that contrasts as well as small image details become recognizeable because of the very fine gradation of the picture. Our real glass coating protects your selected fine art print against sunlight and external influences for between 4 and six decades.
  • Aluminium dibond (metal print): An Aluminium Dibond print is a print with an outstanding depth effect. A direct Direct Print on Aluminum Dibond is the perfect introduction to the sophisticated world of art prints with aluminum. The bright & white parts of the artpiece shimmer with a silk gloss but without the glow.
  • Poster print (canvas material): The poster print is a UV printed flat canvas paper with a slightly roughened finish on the surface. A poster print is ideally qualified for putting the fine art print in a custom-made frame. Please note, that depending on the size of the poster print we add a white margin of around 2-6 cm round about the artwork in order to facilitate the framing with a custom frame.
  • The canvas print: A printed canvas applied on a wood frame. A canvas has a particular look of three-dimensionality. Your canvas of your favorite artpiece will let you turn your fine art print into a large artpiece like you know from galleries. A canvas print has the great advantage of being relatively low in weight, which implies that it is easy and straightforward to hang up your Canvas print without the support of any wall-mounts. That is why, a canvas print is suited for all types of walls.

Legal note: We try the best we can in order to describe our products as accurate as possible and to illustrate them visually. At the same time, the colors of the print products, as well as the imprint may diverge slightly from the image on your monitor. Depending on your settings of your screen and the quality of the surface, not all color pigments will be printed as exactly as the digital version shown here. Because the art reproductions are processed and printed manually, there might as well be slight discrepancies in the exact position and the size of the motif.

General specifications by Barnes Foundation (© - by Barnes Foundation - Barnes Foundation)

As highways for the transport of merchandise and livestock and as rich fishing grounds, the canals and rivers in the Netherlands linked countryside, city, and sea. Jan van Goyen devoted his career to painting the rhythms of these vital waterways in panoramic works dotted with ferries, fishing boats, castles, windmills, and church steeples. In this composition, the placid river zigzags from the right foreground to the low horizon at left-the pitched roofs of the buildings and the vertical masts of the vessels mark the gradual recession of space in the flat terrain. A ferry filled with soldiers lands on the riverbank, perhaps a change of guard for the watch gathered around the tower's cannon. Typical of the tonal and very liquid handling of his mature style, Van Goyen rendered the river scene in a reduced, nearly monochromatic array of browns, greens, and grays. However, the vast sky reveals a brighter palette of blues and pinks edged with white that defines the contours of the plump clouds. Similarly, the broader brushwork in the sky contrasts with the nearly calligraphic description of the landscape elements and figures.
