English: Carl Larsson’s portrait of the plein-air painter Carl Skånberg was made in 1878, during a period of intense contact among the Swedes in Paris. There were two major opportunities where they could present their work: the big World’s Fair and the usual Salon. This portrait was accepted by the Salon and was praised by Larsson’s artist colleagues – unlike many of his other works from this period, which were considered too academic and thus outmoded.

Materials our customers can pick

In the dropdown lists next to the product you can choose your individual size and material. The following options are available for individualization:

  • Metal (aluminium dibond print): Aluminium Dibond prints are metal prints with an outstanding depth, creating a fashionable look thanks to a surface structure, which is non-reflective. The Aluminium Dibond Print is your perfect start to art prints made with aluminum. For your Aluminium Dibond print, we print the chosen artwork on the surface of the white-primed aluminum material. The white & bright sections of the original artwork shine with a silky gloss, however without any glare. Colors are bright and luminous, the fine details appear clear and crisp.
  • Acrylic glass print: A glossy acrylic glass print, which is often referenced as a UV print on plexiglass, will change the artwork into stunning décor and forms a good alternative to dibond and canvas prints. Your favorite artwork is printed with modern UV printing technology. This creates the effect of intense and impressive colors. The real glass coating protects your custom art replica against light and external influences for many years.
  • Printed poster (canvas material): Our poster is a UV printed flat cotton canvas paper with a slightly rough finish on the surface. Please bear in mind, that depending on the size of the poster print we add a white margin between 2-6cm round about the print motif to facilitate the framing with your custom frame.
  • Canvas print: A canvas print is a printed cotton canvas stretched on a wood frame. The great advantage of canvas prints is that they are relatively low in weight, which implies that it is easy to hang the Canvas print without additional wall-mounts. That is why, canvas prints are suited for any type of wall.
