The artist’s family fled Flanders to the neighboring Dutch province of Zeeland. In Middelburg he specialized in precious flower pictures and landscapes like this one, where the decorative distribution of trees, the stage scenery of castle, farmhouse, and distant town, and the operatic ensemble of colorful characters seem more Flemish than Dutch.

This direct print on Aluminum Dibond is one of the most popular entry-level products and is an extremely sophisticated way to showcase art reproductions, since it draws attention on the artwork.
  • Poster (canvas material): A poster is a printed canvas with a granular surface structure, that reminds the actual version of the artwork. Please note, that depending on the absolute size of the poster we add a white margin between 2-6 cm around the painting, which facilitates the framing with your custom frame.
  • Canvas print: The UV printed canvas material mounted on a wood frame. It generates the extra effect of three dimensionality. Additionally, a printed canvas makes a lively and appealing impression. Your printed canvas of this artwork will let you turn your art print into a large artpiece. Hanging your canvas print: Canvas prints are relatively low in weight. This means, it is easy and straightforward to hang up your Canvas print without the use of any wall-mounts. • Print on glossy acrylic glass (with real glass coating): An print on acrylic glass, often referenced as a print on plexiglass, will turn your favorite original work of art into lovely home decoration and is a great alternative option to canvas or aluminium dibond prints. The artwork is being printed with state-of-the-art UV direct print technology. The major upside of a plexiglass art print is that contrasts as well as small image details will be more visible thanks to the very fine tonal gradation.
