This masterpiece "Gorge and Hermitage San Romedio in Val di Non" was created by the artist Robert Russ. The beyond 120 year old original was painted with the size: 175 x 120 cm - frame: 188 x 135 x 8 cm. Oil on canvas was applied by the painter as the technique for the piece of art. The original artwork has the following text as inscrption: "signed and dated lower left: Robert Russ. 1893". Today, the artwork is in the the digital collection of Belvedere in Vienna, Austria. We are pleased to state that this public domain work of art is provided with courtesy of © Belvedere, Vienna, inventory number: 7928. The creditline of the artpiece is: transfer from the Kunsthistorisches Museum in Vienna in 1987. What is more, the alignment is portrait with a side ratio of 2 : 3, which means that the length is 33% shorter than the width. The painter Robert Russ was an artist, whose artistic style was primarily Realism. The Realist artist was born in the year 1847 in Vienna and deceased at the age of 75 in the year 1922.
