St. Jerome in his study, pointing with his left hand to a skull. On his desk lie on an open book in which a miniature of the Last Judgment, books and papers, glasses or a magnifying glass in a holder, pen and ink, a crucifix and a candle. hangs his cardinal hat on the wall.
