The product dropdown menu ofers you the chance to choose your individual size and material. Choose among the following product options now to match your preferences in size and material:

  • Poster (canvas material): The poster is a UV printed sheet of flat cotton canvas with a slightly rough texture on the surface. A print poster is excellently qualified for framing your fine art print with the help of a special frame. Please note, that depending on the absolute size of the poster print we add a white margin of something between 2-6cm round about the print, which facilitates the framing with your custom frame.
  • Acrylic glass print (with real glass coating on top): An acrylic glass print, often referenced as a plexiglass print, will convert an artwork into beautiful wall decoration. Your own copy of the artwork is being custom-made with state-of-the-art UV direct print machines. The major benefit of an acrylic glass art print is that contrasts plus smaller painting details become more exposed with the help of the subtle gradation of the print.
  • Canvas print: A printed canvas, not to be confused with an artwork painted on a canvas, is a digital image printed from a UV direct printing machine. A canvas print produces a cosy, comfy atmosphere. A canvas of your favorite work of art will let you turn your customized art print into a large size artpiece as you would see in a gallery. Canvas prints are relatively low in weight, which implies that it is easy to hang up the Canvas print without the help of extra wall-mounts. A canvas print is suitable for all types of walls in your home.
  • Aluminium dibond (metal print): This is a metal print made on aluminium dibond with a true depth. The Aluminium Dibond Print is your excellent start to prints with aluminum.

Important note: We try whatever we can to describe the art products as exact as possible and to display them visually on the product detail pages. Still, the pigments of the print products, as well as the imprint may diverge to a certain extent from the representation on your screen. Depending on your screen settings and the nature of the surface, not all color pigments are printed one hundret percent realistically. Considering that all fine art prints are processed and printed manually, there might as well be slight variations in the size and exact position of the motif.

This landscape and its companion piece, Mount Athos Carved as a Monument to Alexander the Great, reflect the late-18th-century enthusiasm for the antique, as well as the cult of sensibility that made the tomb in a landscape a favored subject for art in this period. Here Alexander, who overthrew the Persian Empire, arrives at the tomb of its founder, Cyrus the Great (590/580–c. 529 B.C.), only to find that it has been desecrated. In choosing the subjects of this pair of moralizing landscapes, Pierre-Henri de Valenciennes was doubtless suggesting the transitory nature of empire and of life itself.
