Available product materials

We offer a range of different materials and sizes for every product. The following options are available for individualization:

  • The canvas print: A canvas print, which shall not be mistaken with a real canvas painting, is a digital copy printed on a UV direct printer. What is more, canvas makes a cosy and appealing effect. The advantage of canvas prints is that they are relatively low in weight, meaning that it is easy to hang up your Canvas print without extra wall-mounts. Hence, canvas prints are suited for any kind of wall.
  • Poster print on canvas material: A poster is a printed cotton canvas with a slight texture on the surface. Please bear in mind, that depending on the size of the canvas poster print we add a white margin of approximately 2-6cm round about the print motif to facilitate the framing with a custom frame.
  • Metal print (aluminium dibond): An Aluminium Dibond print is a print with an impressive depth effect - for a modern look and a non-reflective surface structure. A direct Direct Print on Aluminum Dibond is your excellent start to fine art reproductions produced on aluminum. For our Aluminium Dibond print, we print the artpiece on the surface of the white-primed aluminum composite. The white & bright parts of the original artwork shine with a silky gloss but without any glare.
  • Printed acrylic glass: A glossy acrylic glass print, often named a UV print on plexiglass, makes your favorite original artwork into brilliant home decoration and makes a good alternative option to canvas and dibond art prints. The artwork is manufactured with the help of modern UV printing machines. The major upside of a plexiglass fine art copy is that contrasts and details will be more recognizeable thanks to the delicate gradation.

Legal disclaimer: We try our best to depict the art products in as much detail as possible and to exhibit them visually on the various product detail pages. Please keep in mind that the pigments of the print products, as well as the print result may differ to a certain extent from the image on your screen. Depending on your settings of your screen and the nature of the surface, colors can unfortunately not be printed as realisitcally as the digital version depicted here. Because all the are processed and printed by hand, there may also be slight deviations in the motif's exact position and the size.

Edgar Degas had a subscription to the Paris opera, where he studied its corps of ballerinas, capturing them in intimate moments backstage—stretching, adjusting their costumes, rubbing their feet. Rather than duplicate the illusion of effortlessness seen onstage, Degas presents ballet as hard, grueling work. For these subjects, he often worked in pastel since the crayon's chalky texture was ideally suited to capturing the light, gauzy fabric of the tutus.
