Choose your desired fine art print material variant

In the dropdown menu right next to the article you can choose a material and a size of your choice. The following sizes and materials are the options we offer you for individualization:

  • Metal print (aluminium dibond): These are metal prints on aluminium dibond material with an outstanding depth.
  • Poster print (canvas material): Our poster is a printed cotton canvas with a slightly rough surface finish, that resembles the actual artwork. Please note, that depending on the absolute size of the canvas poster print we add a white margin of something between 2 - 6cm around the print, which facilitates the framing with your custom frame.
  • Canvas print: The canvas direct print is a printed canvas mounted on a wood stretcher. A canvas creates a particular effect of three dimensionality. Further, a canvas print produces a charming, enjoyable effect. Canvas prints are relatively low in weight. This means, it is quite simple to hang up your Canvas print without any wall-mounts. Hence, canvas prints are suited for all types of walls.
  • Print on glossy acrylic glass (with real glass coating): An acrylic glass print, often described as a fine art print on plexiglass, changes an artwork into wall decoration. With an acrylic glass art print contrasts and also granular image details become more recognizeable due to the delicate gradation. Our real glass coating protects your custom art replica against sunlight and heat for many years to come.

Important note: We try our utmost in order to describe our products in as much detail as possible and to showcase them visually on the product detail pages. Nevertheless, the colors of the print products, as well as the printing can diverge slightly from the representation on your screen. Depending on your settings of your screen and the quality of the surface, colors may not be printed as exactly as the digital version shown here. Considering that all art prints are processed and printed by hand, there may as well be minor variations in the motif's exact position and the size.

Artwork description from the museum's website (© - The Metropolitan Museum of Art - www.metmuseum.org)

As the original inscription indicates, the sitter was thirty-six when portrayed by Hals. The portrait's immediacy is enhanced by vivid brushwork, strong modeling, and a glance and heartfelt gesture which respond to the viewer. The oval framing device was adapted from Dutch portrait engravings but is more illusionistic than in almost any print.
