Materials you can pick from

For every product we offer different materials & sizes. We allow you to pick your favorite size and material among the following product individualization options:

  • The poster print (canvas material): The Artprinta poster print is a printed flat canvas with a slightly roughened structure on the surface, that resembles the original masterpiece. It is optimally suited for framing the fine art print with a custom-made frame. Please bear in mind, that depending on the size of the poster we add a white margin of approximately 2-6cm around the painting in order to facilitate the framing with your custom frame.
  • Canvas: A printed canvas, not to be mistaken with an artwork painted on a canvas, is a digital image printed on an industrial printing machine. Your canvas of this artpiece will provide you with the unique chance to transform your art print into a large size work of art as you would see in a gallery. Canvas prints are relatively low in weight. That means, it is easy and straightforward to hang your Canvas print without any wall-mounts. A canvas print is suited for any type of wall.
  • Metal (aluminium dibond print): Aluminium Dibond prints are metal prints with a true depth. For our Aluminium Dibond print, we print the selected work of art onto the surface of the aluminum composite. The white & bright parts of the original work of art shimmer with a silky gloss but without any glare. The colors are luminous, the fine details appear crisp, and the print has a a matte look that you can literally feel.
  • Acrylic glass print (with real glass coating): The print on acrylic glass, which is sometimes described as a print on plexiglass, makes an original into beautiful wall décor. Moreover, the acrylic art print makes a good alternative option to dibond and canvas art prints. The artwork is being manufactured with state-of-the-art UV direct printing machines. With an acrylic glass art print contrasts and also granular color details will be more exposed with the help of the delicate gradation. The real glass coating protects your chosen art replica against sunlight and heat for many years to come.

Disclaimer: We try everything in order to depict our art products with as many details as possible and to showcase them visually on the various product detail pages. However, the colors of the printing material and the printing might diverge slightly from the presentation on your device's screen. Depending on the screen settings and the quality of the surface, not all color pigments are printed as realisitcally as the digital version on this website. Considering that the fine art prints are printed and processed by hand, there might as well be minor differences in the exact position and the size of the motif.

A notebook kept by Fantin’s wife is said to record the circumstances surrounding this picture. The sitter called herself Mme Leroy, a name the artist suspected was false; and she insisted on paying for her portrait in advance. She was accompanied to some of her sittings by an American named Becker, who also commissioned a likeness of himself from Fantin, dated the following year (Smith College Museum of Art, Northampton, Mass.). The couple’s full identities, and the nature of their relationship, remain unknown.
