• The glossy acrylic glass print: A glossy acrylic glass print, often referred to as a plexiglass print, will turn your favorite original work of art into beautiful décor and makes a distinct alternative to aluminium and canvas prints. • Poster print (canvas material): The poster is a printed canvas with a slightly rough surface structure. It is ideally used for framing the art replica with the help of a personal frame. Please keep in mind, that depending on the size of the canvas poster print we add a white margin of around 2-6cm round about the painting to facilitate the framing with your custom frame.
• Aluminium print (aluminium dibond): An Aluminium Dibond print is a material with an impressive depth effect - for a modern impression and a non-reflective surface structure. The bright & white sections of the original artpiece shimmer with a silk gloss but without the glow.

Specification of the product

This masterpiece "Combat for the Colors" was painted by the painter Édouard Detaille in 1874. The over 140 year-old original measures the following dimensions: Framed: 37,2 x 27 x 2,6 cm (14 5/8 x 10 5/8 x 1 in); Unframed: 32,5 x 22,6 cm (12 13/16 x 8 7/8 in) and was made with the medium oil on wood panel. The original artwork was inscribed with the details: signed in black paint lower left corner: edouard detaille / 1874. Today, this piece of art is in the the digital art collection of The Cleveland Museum of Art located in Cleveland, Ohio, United States of America. We are pleased to reference that this artwork, which belongs to the public domain is being provided with courtesy of The Cleveland Museum of Art. Furthermore, the artwork has the creditline: Gift of Mr. and Mrs. J. H. Wade. In addition to this, the alignment of the digital reproduction is in portrait format and has a ratio of 2 : 3, meaning that the length is 33% shorter than the width.
